With a real passion and flair for languages, you will introduce pupils to the German language and coach them through the curriculum, encouraging them and prepping them for exams and coursework.
Any teacher needs to clearly engage with their pupils. A language teacher needs to try and make classes memorable for students, so that they remember vital vocabulary and grammar, and so pupils are inspired to learn more about the language and culture of the country.
A German teacher needs to be highly organised and prepared to work alongside colleagues in the modern languages department, whilst also acting as a mentor for students. Keep an eye out for pupils or who are struggling, and work with other members of teaching staff to help those pupils strive. When teaching, demand respect, keep an ordered classroom, but also create a learning environment that is fun and exciting.
