An office manager is at the head of the office pyramid. It is their role to ensure that an office runs smoothly, that all the work is done to a high level and that it is finished within pre-arranged deadlines. An office manager's role often depends on the size of the office. In a bigger business a manager might be able to delegate some of his work to an office coordinator or other administrative staff, if not, much of the responsibilities will fall to the manager.
