One of the first things you think about when thinking of Easter is daffodils, right? Well, if you want to help fill the supermarket shelves with colour, why not apply to be a flower packer? As part of the role, you will prepare and count daffodils. There are definitely worse jobs to have! If you are 23 and above, you will be earning £9.50 an hour plus overtime of £11.88 an hour.

3. Bible communicator
Salary: £29,000 to £34,000 per annum
If you are interested in the origins of Easter and are of Christian faith, you could become a Bible communicator.

Other companies offering seasonal retail roles include toy store Hamleys, which has vacancies in a number of its stores across the UK. Hamleys has a range of temporary contracts and one of the only requirements is that you should enjoy dressing up and being in character. This involves dressing up as the Easter bunny during some of your shifts! 5. Hatchery operative
Salary: up to £13.30 per hour
If chicks are the first thing to spring to mind when thinking about Easter, why not become a hatchery operative?
Annyalla Chicks are employing hatchery operatives for their hatchery in Wrexham. The role involves undertaking tasks including egg loading and handling, adhering to codes of practice and bird welfare, and adhering to health and safety standards. As all training is provided, no experience is required, with the only requirements being that you must be a flexible, positive, and hard-working individual. This is an eggcellent position for early risers as the chick team has a shift of 4 am-12 pm. The hourly rate is £10.00, rising to £13.30 per hour for any additional hours over 40. The company is also offering an additional £0.60 bonus for attendance and performance.

6. Easter performer
Salary: National minimum wage
If you have some previous experience in performing arts, this role is great for you. Lincolnshire theme park, Twin Lakes Park, is hiring Easter performers for their Easter grotto. There are various roles available, including Easter bunny helpers, which includes guiding guests through the grotto, as well as leading group workshops. If you are less interested in a speaking role, fear not! Twin Lakes Park is also hiring for an Easter Bunny! All training will be provided and you can work flexible hours!
If you’re based in the North East, Tynemouth Park is looking for performers for their Easter Egg Hunt Event. The role involves dressing up as children’s characters, such as superheroes and princesses. Candidates will work at least 2 out of the 16 days of half-term for 8 hours a day. Salary: up to £9.50 per hour
They say to never work with children or animals but this role does both! Church Farm near Stevenage, Hertfordshire is hiring a seasonal events assistant for its animal events. The role includes lamb feeding, Easter egg hunts, meeting the Easter bunny, and even goat walking! Pretty cool, isn’t it! Full training will be provided and workers have the option of full-time or part-time work. There is also the possibility of the chance to work during the May half term and summer holidays too, making this role really suitable for students.

8. Arts and crafts volunteer

If you’re looking for a way to get involved in your local community, volunteering is a great place to start. Often, you can volunteer as much or as little as you like, so it is great for flexibility.
