Team Adzuna is raising money for Cancer Research - join us!

Team Adzuna is raising money for Cancer Research UK and we’ve decided to walk 100km overnight along the Thames – all the way from Henley to Putney near our office in leafy south-west London. We have so far reached 44% of our goal (£5,000) and raised £2,233.60, thanks to all the generous donations from our supporters. Every £2 donated to Cancer Research is used to buy glass slides essential for their scientists to carry out research. You can find more information of how donations are used here.

Why we’re fundraising for Cancer Research

In October 2015, our co-founder Andrew Hunter was diagnosed with lymphoma – just after his wedding and before his honeymoon. The nicest guy you could ever meet, a great leader and a good friend, Andrew, is bravely fighting this horrible disease.

Despite some brutal treatment, he maintains an incredibly positive outlook, which has inspired us at Adzuna to join in the fight.

We are looking forward to having him back in the office, but in the interim, we plan on participating in a series of challenges to raise funds for Cancer Research UK. We hope to spread Andrew’s positive attitude to others who are impacted by this disease.

Adam – Adzuna’s answer to Chris Froome, Adam enjoys long cycling tours and building world class applications.

James – Part time runner, full time Data Scientist, I would not go against him in any competition – the odds are forever in his favour.
