The Series C funding round sees Smedvig join backers Index Ventures, Passion Capital, LocalGlobe and over 400 Crowdcube investors and takes the company\u2019s total funding to \u00a312m. <\/span><\/p>\n Alongside the fundraising, and <\/span>following a competitive process to win the contract, the company has successfully launched Find a job this week,\u00a0 replacing Universal Jobmatch.<\/span> As one of the largest online government services, Find a job connects millions of jobseekers with thousands of employers online and through job centres around the UK. The new website offers a fast, simple experience and powerful search using Adzuna\u2019s technology, matching jobseekers to employers\u2019 available roles quickly and effectively.<\/span><\/p>\n Funding will be used to better job search<\/strong><\/p>\n The new funding will be used to invest in Adzuna’s technology, including it’s market-leading search and machine-learning platform that brings together millions of job ads in one place. Not only will this improve the<\/span> smart search options and powerful job market data that the site already produces – it puts Adzuna right on track to achieving its mission of matching jobseekers to better and more fulfilling roles.<\/span><\/p>\n Key priorities for 2018 and beyond include will also include growing Adzuna in the UK and internationally by expanding the company\u2019s cutting-edge development and data science teams and rapidly expanding the recently-launched US market.
