Sherry Coutu is a former CEO and angel investor with a wealth of experience across a range of companies, charities and universities.\u00a0She chairs Founders4Schools and is a Non-Executive Director of Zoopla and the London Stock Exchange Group amongst others, and has served on the Advisory Board of LinkedIn.<\/p>\n
As an angel investor, she works \u00a0with entrepreneurs to solve problems that matter and specialises in consumer internet, information services and education. For this she has been referred to as a corporate Sherlock Holmes of the startup world. As a result of her sleuthing, she has now made angel investments in more than 50 companies and currently holds investments in 4 venture capital firms.<\/span><\/p>\n Amongst her wealth of accolades, she was voted by TechCrunch as the best CEO mentor \/ advisor in Europe in Nov 2010. In May 2011, she was voted by Wired magazine as one of the top 25 ‘most influential people in the wired world’, and one of the top ten most influential investors and women.<\/p>\n Philanthropically, she supports the Prince’s Trust, the Crick Institute and serves on the Harvard Business School European Advisory Council.\u00a0Sherry has an MBA from Harvard, and degrees from the London School of Economics and University of British Columbia.
