Photographers sit behind the camera to create individual impressions of people or nature of events or set of objects. They often specialize in one area such as portrait, advertising, press or scientific photography. They dominate the whole process of photographing products from brainstorming and planning, lighting and staging to the treatment of the resulting images for all playback options.
Photographers work freelance, are in the photographic industry or in public institutions operate. Large newspaper companies employ their own photographers. Sometimes they are also engaged in the retail photo lab or in large industrial plants and film printing. In addition, they may work with press services and agencies, image archive services, advertising and media agencies, and film and television jobs.
The quality of the recordings is based largely on experience and preparation work. Camera, film, lens, lighting and motive must be matched to each other.
