Working within the HR team, you'll have methodical administrative skills, will be highly organised (with verging on obsessive-compulsive levels of organisation) and have superb levels of communication as you will be expected to communicate with colleagues at all levels.

With your colleagues, you will offer support to the other managers on all aspects of human resources, from company policies to employment law. Your experience working within HR departments will mean you will assist in putting together HR initiatives, keep up-to-date records on all members of staff, audit all HR data and process new starter and leaver information.

Responsibilities & Skills

The role will keep you on your toes, as the responsibilities are varied and will no doubt change on a day-to-day basis. From working with recruitment agencies to source the perfect candidate for a role, to supporting the recruitment process as a whole: phoning prospective candidates to arrange interview times, taking notes in interviews and overseeing any tests for candidates.

In administrative terms, you will update all employee records, produce recruitment statistics, provide guidance on HR basics for new starters, and advise all employees on the laws, legislation and procedure that affect them directly.

Required Qualifications

  • No specific qualifications are needed, but a post-graduate qualification in HR/personnel management or a HND plus experience would be useful.
