Once you are in the company it is very hard to negotiate a payrise. Graduates and external applicants will find this easier. The training could benefit from better resources. The appraisal process requires you to list multiple examples in order to gain a very small percentage increase. Doing this on top of a busy work load is not ideal in terms of employee productivity.
