Aon is good at developing their staff. They have systems in place that are particularly helpful if you want to study for qualifications and take exams. I like working in an environment of excellence in my industry - and I love my corporate expense card!
Unfortunately there can be long hours at times, and I would really appreciate a bit more focus being put on work/life balance. The current offices aren't the best.
Only 2 years before we move to new premises - 'the cheesegrater' (the new Aon building), Leadenhall Street in 2015!
Excellent work life balance, and very good pay. They are easily the best things about Aon. You also have a very flexible schedule and work from home opportunities. The people are great, and treat you like family. Along with the pay, the benefits are great as well. There are a lot of learning opportunities.
People are often ignored by the senior management, and there are constant reshuffles in the management. The career path is almost non existant, and the profile of the work is not inspiring. The company fails to inspire and captivate you, on the contrary you feel ignored.
You feel ignored by the management.
Fair pay shouldn't be a benefit!
