I work in a supportive team and generally the people I work with are down to earth and straight forward and there is a good social working environment It's a large global business with opportunities around the world and good holidays
The grades and salaries are all over the place – everybody seems to have something different and it's not clear why, as salary does not seem to grow with experience in the role. Also it's not obvious how to aim for higher positions in the company or what you need to do to get a pay increase. No flexibility in working hours The allowance for training and training opportunities in general need to be improved.
I love my company car!
Good staff, but the HR / management believe that BB is a charity
HR don't practice or do, what they preach to their staff, on the induction courses
Management don't appreciate workers who do additional hours for free to meet deadlines
The fact that its a cash rich company implies that you can not worry about being paid, or keeping your job, even if youre a contractor, theyre likely to hire more than need, in fact. The company will make sure you have what you need to get going.
The finger pointing and blame games are never ending. There is a complete disregard for the staff and even the simples HR practices. Especially when it comes to pensions, you will regret ever having worked here, There is no idea of people being individuals, and encourading individuals to be better versions of themselves, all through the day its only about what you did wrong, and blaming someone. The senior management is even more scared and replaceable and therefore they play the blame game too. This is a company with a lot of flair and no substance. The flair too, is simly on account of their large but dwindling asset base.
How to destory a company 101
