Great office in a really cool area of London. Good to be so close to Regent's Park/Oxford St etc etc I work with a good bunch of people Because of the relatively small size of IB, the projects you do there are manageable and you can bring them in to sign off within realistic timeframes, and you also have a fairly high profile whilst working on them
Staff are not generally happy and staff turnover is high, partly because the compensation offered is too low, particularly for an investment bank You need to be fluent in French if you really want to make headway professionally Your manager has absolute authority over your movements and it can make it impossible to move anywhere else in the organisation – if your moving around doesn't suit them
You need to speak French to do well there.
