Work/life balance is amazing, and working from home and remotely is encouraged, which is good, since that is exactly the kind of work culture that Citrix's products promote and enable. Management is genuinely concerned about the well being of its workforce. The salaries are very good, and are accompanied by an equally good benefits package.
Middle management is constantly undoing a lot of the good work that the higher management and company policies hope to encourage. They hire a lot of incompetent people who are not likely to threaten their jobs, and this only pulls down various teams in the workplace.

Corporate value of authenticiy is apparent throughout the operation as there is hardly any empire building or the typical manouvreing you see in most big companies these days. We are all working together to make the grade in the market. Even the takeovers are dealt with respectfully, so staff in new acquisitions are allowed to integrate at their own pace - it's their uniqueness which tends to enhance their value to the organisation as a whole Technology is good
There is virtually no resource available for organic expansion of the company. Makes it very limiting for internal units who are doing well enough to grow their resources, because they won't be supported to do so. Processes and procedures have been outgrown. They were okay for a smaller company but now that we are operating on a much larger scale – it's a misfit. It shouldn't be necessary for top level management to be signing off insignificant purchase orders. The on/off flow control policy for taking on new staff is creating a problem as well, severely limiting when staff can be taken on and we're losing out on being a ... Think this is a bad strategy - believe it is restricting the company's ability to achieve excellence long-term for some small short-term benefit on the cost margin more
