The first thing i must say is that the organisation is very dedicated to the local community, and they put the community first. The wage is pretty good, but more importantly, its one of the most stable jobs in the city. The work conditions are relaxed and friendly, and the people are very helpful too. The work is not always challenging, but always satisfying because youre working for the community you love.
Very few downsides, except the ones i expected to find even before i took the job - red tape, public sector attitude, slow movement, slow to act, and you will have to deal with a sufficient amount of bureaucracy, there is going to be no way around it.
Good dedication to the community.
Fair pay shouldn't be a benefit!
