“conniving company that cons customers into service plans, and doesn't train employees well enough”

I met some nice people there

micro management, poor training, poor pay, long hours, short breaks, unhealthy canteen food options, poor ethics

casual friday you can wear whatever you want - but if you work weekends you can wear whatever bottoms you want but you have to wear your company polo. why? No one knows...

“Decent retail job to hold”

Nothing spectacular about Dixons, but it ticks some very important marks -They pay well and on time. The people are nice, and you get a lot of discounts.

There is no room for growth. Being an online retailer, work is boring and mechanical, with no real interactions. This can start to get on your nerves. The management is not supportive most times, they are highly process oriented. Employees get lost in the focus on processes.

Feels like working at a warehouse, not a retail company
