Opportunities to work directly with the EDs at FDM. Working alongside such experienced colleagues has provided me with an insight into how to run a successful company. I also have the opportunity to work with colleagues around the world and across multiple departments such as finance, sales, HR and marketing. FDM trust their employees and consequently this company has been a fantastic opportunity for me to progress. Fantastic perks such as awesome summer parties, sporting events, group holidays such as a skiing trip in Europe. The working environment has a real family feel, I am very fortunate.
The company is expanding, as long as its employees grow with it, this growth should not be a problem.
Being able to work so closely with executive directors when relatively new to the company.
They've got an excellent graduate training programme and you can acquire a range of project management skills that will fit you to work for a whole range of IT companies. This is a company that's used to working with students as brand ambassadors, so they are well aware of how to manage the transition from college to full-time working. The pay's not too bad, either.
You have to sign up for at least two years, so if you don't like it when you get there, then you can feel like a bit of a hostage.
FDM's got global reach, so there's a pretty good chance you might get to work overseas.
