100% of employees recommend this company to their friends

“Best company to work for in the world, be careful with what you will actually be doing...”

Perks - free (great) food, videogames, free macs, headphones etc. etc.

It's still very much in the making and changes all the time. This means that roles keep changing. This has moved forward since I was there, but be clear about exactly what you want to get out of your time there.

On week 1, everyone got an extra €1K (even people who were on probation and on their first week) just for just, due to great quarterly results. 95% of their profit is made via those annoying little ads when you search!

“So many free perks, you'll lose track of what is available”

All the perks, the fact it's a leader in its category and can thus invest in so many other interesting ventures

The corporate structure and the very high level of competition internally. You don't get to learn much as there's very little innovation in the existing products and you don't get a sense of achieving anything.

The offices are all quirky and fun, impossible to list just one thing!

“A fantastic place to work, I don't want to leave”

The working culture is fantastic, colleagues are fun and decent people. There is plenty of free food, a free gym and the pay itself is very good. You also have the benefit of knowing you are working for a company are the forefront of cutting edge technology and thinking.

It can be difficult to progress into a management role if you don't bring any experience of this to your role when you join Google. Re organisations happen too often.

The company could benefit from more internal hiring and training within the company than constant external hires. The staff within the company know a lot more about the industry and therefore more promotions should happen from within.

“Great operation with the best of everything, lots of space to grow, but you need to really own your own career to develop and progress”

The vision of the company is on a global scale and you feel a part of something big that is making a difference to the future for everyone The process for the cascade of information company wide works really well. All the teams are up to speed and know what's coming and what's expected of them You get to work with a very wide spectrum of different types Most of the people are also really friendly and fun to work with as well People take responsibility for the projects they are working on, and also you have the chance to take responsibility for your specific projects too because you don't get micromanaged

Not the place for the technophobe! If you and technology don't meet eye to eye then forget Google. In the same way that they don't micromanage over your shoulder neither do they spoonfeed your career development you have to carve your own path.

If you want to learn and improve then you have to network with your colleagues

“i want more money to web google.com i like google.com very much .iwant work google.com”

it make hope to me have money in my home

i don't register ad sense get . i sorry much more because i wait Google very day at will hope me register Google past.i will wait Google always.

i never register ad sense. it to what at Rubbish for me!!!! if you help me please...i want more money i want get money to web Google . i will wait...

“Best of me”

Google let me improve as professional. Excellent teammates who share info with and learn from them.

Very stressful work each & each day, you can't stay out of the loop.

Google’s mission is to organize the world‘s information and make it universally accessible and useful. Since our founding in 1998, Google has grown by leaps and bounds. From offering search in a single language we now offer dozens of products and services—including various forms of advertising and web applications for all kinds of tasks—in scores of languages. And starting from two computer science students in a university dorm room, we now have thousands of employees and offices around the world. A lot has changed since the first Google search engine appeared. But some things haven’t changed: our dedication to our users and our belief in the possibilities of the Internet itself.
