“Conservative Employer”

The highways agency offers a casual work atmosphere, with work that isnt too strenuous, lots of holidays, flexible working hours, some good perks and a generally relaxed lifestyle compared to a corporate job.

With a highly conservative management, there is no vibrance in the workplace, days can get very dull, the pay is rather low, while the benefits are good. There is always a bureaucracy to deal with, and the general work atmosphere can feel very lethargic, uninspiring and stagnant.

The very casual, no pressure work atmosphere with flexible working hours.

“Good work/life balance, not enough pay”

Flexi time is great Basic working hours in general are good and give a good work/life balance The holiday entitlement is also pretty reasonable

We are not compensated sufficiently well for what we are expected to do Organisation does not seem to act in a strategic way, needs to address this

Good flexibility in working times
