It is a good company to work for if you have ambition and if you want to be part of a fast growing environment with a wicked pace. If they carry on what they have started, it will be fantastic in the future and that is the best incentive ever. They make you feel valued and reward hard work and initiative. It is also a very good opportunity to learn by doing.
They don't always make the right decisions based on what is needed rather than just figures. They don't really know where they stand yet and there are still lots of adjustements to be made and trouble shooting to be addressed to.
There's too much paperwork but it is not too late to remedy to that.
The little perks such as the hampers, the parties and the pretty workplace and the fact that you are able to achieve a correct work/life balance are nice but they are not enough to make you forget all the things that go work during you time in the company.
Senior management are very judgemental but not on the right things. They believe they are the only ones doing the good jobs and that staff doesn't perform as much as they should. You have to deal with their egos on a day to day basis. You have to fit in in order to be able to progress within the company.
Work there as an underwriter, it is the only way
