Pros: A welcoming and open place to work for students who want to start their working lives on a great note. There is a fantastic train-on-the-job program that helps new employees get into the swing of things in no time. Management is in charge of every aspect of the company without being in your face about it.
Cons: This place is great as a start-up, but you can’t go much further than that. The pay structure is quite low, but does improve over time. Sometimes staff are given more work than they can handle.
Unusual thing: People who work here, more often than not, end up being firm friends even after their time at the company ends.
The biggest name in opinion polling, it's got to look good on your CV. A calm, friendly office environment, where you feel able to deliver your best performance without being hectored. Supportive co-workers and opportunities to train on the job and develop a career at IM. Grad training scheme is also pretty good.
Quite a lot of the work is dull and routine, with plenty of data entry. Pay is OK, but it could be a lot better for the hours you have to put in.
'Flexible benefits scheme' lets you choose between things like shopping vouchers or season ticket loans.
Fair pay shouldn't be a benefit!
