Reviews:

“Huge company who has known how to stay humble”

They look after you and provide you with a friendly and fun environment so that you are happy to go to work when your shift is about to start. Everyone gets along very well and don't take themselves seriously (although they are all very serious about their jobs and do them very well). The company has kept the same values as at the beginning.

Like with all big compnaies that started very small, they have to sort out problems that might make you feel a bit lost. No staff discounts which is really strange and should remedied to.

Just a big load of fun

“Great company which rewards the hard working people”

It is a very fun environment where everyone is happy and takes pleasure in doing what they have to. The company has kept the same culture that made it a success and now stick to it. You can take initiatives and be rewarded for them so that you feel valued. There's communication between all the layers of the company and a transparency that is very important.

The benefits are not as good as in some other companies but the good atmosphere makes up for it. There's not much to complain about, especially as they are very understanding.

They really look after their staff.

“Business needs to be taken into capable hands”

You don't get bothered by red tape as there's pretty much none, the job is fun and people are mostly nice.

Management has made really bad decisions and that has had grave consequences over the whole business. There should be policies and rules in order to allow the business to grow more and remain as successful as it has been so far. People also leave because of the politics going on within the company and the lack of rewards when you do a good job. There are no opportunities for progression and staff (especially managers) should be properly trained.

No recognition for achievements

About
The roots of the JUST EAT Group originate in Denmark where the company was first incorporated in 2000 and then launched in 2001. After some initial years of boot strapped growth the company slowly started to internationalise, beginning with the UK launch in 2006. The internationalisation gained momentum in 2009 with our series A investment round and was accelerated further after a series B investment round in March 2011. Most recently we raised US$64m in a Series C investment round in April 2012 for acquisitions, investment in product and technology and balance sheet strengthening. Today the JUST EAT Group is the world’s leader in online takeaway ordering. With activities in 13 countries across four continents and more than 32,000 restaurants on our network, we have over 8m registered members and are currently generating over £600m in revenue per year for the restaurant industry. JUST EAT has created a whole new way of ordering food. Focusing on making restaurant owners happy and customers well-served, we have created a strong end-to-end system for online ordering. The choice of restaurants on JUST EAT ranges all the way from high-end luxury food to the local pizza-house, offering something for any taste or time-schedule.
