“Great atmosphere with a flat management structure although a large company”

Amazing company, with a solid reputation. Lots of talented and fun people. Career progression highly merit based. Good salaries, even better bonuses. Opportunities to build yourself professionally as culture is highly team work based, and teams often contain extremely intelligent and talented people.

HR team often lacking in people skills, show disdain for the individual. Work life balance often suffers. Organisation experienced rapid growth, and has not yet found its footing in terms of departments, especially those spread over different countries interacting productively.

Suprisingly flat management structure for an organisation this big.

“Great corporate to work for, but it has its downsides”

The people are excellent, especially in the context of the fun and casual work environment. There is good work life balance achievable. A lot of flexibility and work from home opportunities. The company encourages co-operation and collaboration.

The hours can often drag on very long, and the flexibility in timings comes down to whether you want to stay up the night, or wake up early in the mornings. There is little job security in the current market. And very few opportunities make their way out of China.
