Since the company is a mid tier operation, it is currently at a sweet spot where business is growing, and the company isnt corporate enough, so the employees enjoy a good work life balance. The office is warm, and friendly in its design, and very aesthetically pleasing. The company allows you to study parallely for professional qualifications.
The work culture is horrible. Politics and networking define how far you will go within the company and even how favoruably your work will be percieved. Their system of internal appraisals are simply an opportunity for the management to deal out cut throat criticism, with hardly a positive word mentioned. The atmosphere is very serious, and almost silent.
Horrible work atmosphere.
The people are the best part about this company, with a good, supportive, interesting and friendly group of people at work. There are a lot of work lunches and football games especially over the weekends, which are great fun. Management gives a lot of support to employees. People are very close due to the small office.
Work was boring, dull and repetitive. Office decor too did not help the feeling much, being a little too dated, formal and uninspiring. This shold though be expected of most accounting firms.
Great set of people.
