With guidelines and processes well laid out, good working hours, a culture that values people over numbers whether in dealing with employees or customers and good rewards programmes, Natwest has great potential for being a very satisfying place to work. The co-workers too are amazing people.
There is absolutely atrocious communication between senior management and the workforce. The communication between departments is even worse. There is a lot of pressure in the workplace due to having to meet targets that are usually unrealistic. Most of the internal processes only confuse the employees more due to the lack of communication from the management. Most employees are left feeling unvalued whereas the company is truly trying to achieve the exact opposite effect.
Good intentions spoiled by bad management.
Great people, good stable and understandable guidelines and internal processes. No time wasted running around trying to tie things up. Good working hours. The company is trying to be human oriented. Good pay, rewards, benefits and recognition for good work rendered.
A lot of the processes get in the way of good customer service by imposing far too many obstacles, often unneccessary. There is a lack of communication between the business management team and other deparments. The company is quick to pull up people when they make even the slightest mistakes.
Too much advice given all the time.,
Fair pay shouldn't be a benefit!
