It is a very technical atmosphere, as most people work in the processing department. Naturally there is a complaints department as well but no one really wants to work there. The best thing about working at PayPal is that you get to meet so many different people from all walks of life and you can learn something from each of them.
The owners of PayPal seem to have resigned themselves to sticking to their original recipe. While it does obviously work, they are not at all willing to even consider any latest technologies to improve the service. The working hours are extremely long here.
All the employees are required to work shifts every now and then.
