Reviews:

“A company that doesn't treat its employees well despite the services it offers”

Training on the job was very good. My learning curve was steep in a short period of time. I met some fantastic people, I liked the colleagues I worked with, there was a good team player attitude amongst my team. You get exposed to a huge variety of departments and sectors which is good experience.

Main problems are with management, they don't listen to the lower levels of staff. The pay is bad for the hours you put in. I felt unmotivated working here, I had no desire to put in more than the bare minimum which is unlike me. Grievances amongst staff were never addressed properly. Morale is consequently very low.

To progress in this company you need to be favoured by management, they aren't consistent with how people and promotions are addressed.

“True meritocracy - clients come first and amazing support”

Providing advice to clients in all sectors in a fantastic building with a great case management system

Some long serving members of staff who are not keen on HR graduates such as me or new entrants who are fast paced and eager to progress

legal advice in a hr shared service set up

“Not for everyone - but a great place to work if you love HR advice”

Training is better than any degree or diploma in employment law , gym class on a Thursday is free as is breakfast on a Monday. Free drinks end off month. Lots of incentives

Fast paced environment , business has nearly 30,000 SME clients who have no HR, they need a lot of supper

They have offices in sydney!

“Great company to work for”

Social Events

Workload

Free Beer

“Excellent place to work and develop”

Training and Development The Head Quarters The Staff Pushed to acheive personal goals

No parking

Free Breakfast on a Monday and dress down day last Friday of every month

“Brilliant environment to flourish and advance”

I felt extremely honoured walking into Peninsula Business Services prestigious organisation headquarters, I quickly found my feet within a new team and I have not looked back since. The senior management within each department true care for each member of staff and will encourage and push each individual to achieve their full potential and develop skills they will keep with them for life. I am truly thankful I work for such a remarkable company and can’t ever see myself leaving.

There really are not any areas I would say are the “worst” thing about working for Peninsula Business Services. I assumed before I set foot in the building it would have a canteen on site but it does, it does have fresh sandwiches and snacks offered on each floor so that does compensate. With the amount of floors at its disposal Peninsula Business Services offers a free exercise class on a Thursday night, this is set on floor 7. Personally I would like them to invest in some gym equipment on this floor as gyms these days can be very expensive.

They have a breakfast club on a Monday morning; this includes fresh, hot and delicious bacon, sausage butties (veggie alternatives are available) plus cereals, pastries and hot and cold drinks. The incentive rewards are simply mind-blowing, holidays to Dubai, Miami and Monaco are just some of the locations offered, cars days out hotels etc.

I felt extermely proud walking into Peninsula's prestigious headquarters, I quickly found my feet within my new team and I have not looked back since. there really are not any bad areas. I assumed there would be an onsite canteen but there isnt. They do however have a service offering fresh sandwiches and snacks to all employees. I would love some gym equipment to work along side the free exercise class they offer.

The breakfast club on a Monday is a good way to start the week.

“The future looks bright, the future is Peninsula”

Training and development, is outstanding. No stone is left unturned when it comes to assistaing with an employees development. Regular contact with line managers on where you need to improve and help with accomplishing this goal.

Pay could be better I supose but that becasue I am greedy.

Can be stressful but that can re-focus the mind

“Love my time here”

Stressful Fast paced

Not had a job where my breakfast is provided

“Perfect working environment”

Fun environment that allows employees to feel wanted and enthusiastic about work

There is no canteen on site, this extra addition would be a huge plus for all employees

Potential to win a holiday to New York / Dubai or Miami

“Perfect for any SME”

Providing the best advice and support to local businesses

Paying for parking everyday as I commute from Liverpool

Opportunity to work in ireland / Austraila

“Success Starts Here”

Training Development Progression Mentoring Wages Location

None, its a great working environment with a great mix of people

Having a coffee and a chat with a billionaire

“scaremongers & bullies”

Training was great, staff are friendly and wages are great

The sales managers basically train you to put the rear of the lord into their existing and new clients when pitching for new contracts, they prey particularly on SME and charge an extortionate rate compared to a similar service offered by banks, they are offered a ridiculously basic safety inspection and most information is generic and not specific to the industries the client has ever construction they just don't understand that sector. Top 100 employers to work for ( however sales department are not allowed to vote)

As above 😑

“Morally Corrupt”

Working with clients and trying to bring them on in the limited time allowed. A lot of good people work here but the overall culture comes from the very top and cannot/will not change.

Knowing that sales is everything to the company (GREED IS GOOD rules at this company). Awkward dealing with clients when you know they have been oversold a product, hurts on a moral perspective.

Bullying culture and the way staff are treated which is the polar opposite of what a HR/Employment/H&S company should be doing - hypocritical. This pressure is applied to staff and clients, if a bad review is posted then the client is bombarded with calls to change it. Everything is focussed towards selling more to a client or getting sales from a client under the title of referrals.

“Great employer”

You're exposed to great employees and mentors and are given the best training and development to prepare you for delivering the highest level of work to our clients.

The pace is relentless and it may not suit everyone

Having a chat with a multi millionaire everyday
