The facilities at HQ are impressive. The environment is really nice and there are perks such as a free gym for staff and you can get a reasonably priced breakfast each day.
Training and staff development here are seriously poor. Getting an internal promotion can take a ridiculously long time. Some colleagues were known to take advantage of the company's work/life balance to deal with the workload. There are internal politics but a severe lack of staff training plans.
People who get promoted here are not necessarily those who are the best at the jobs but those who can 'talk the talk'
The organisation genuinely values a principled approach to business and is committed to achieving that Scope given for independent style of working to carve out your own career Good leadership Focus on getting good results is motivating Appreciate the flexi-working – gives freedom and opportunitiies for mums and dads Global organisation with international prospects for those that can aim high Generally great working atmosphere, co-workers are supportive teamplayers and fun to work with
Technology is systemically challenged – irritating lack of fluidity and connectivity inherent throughout – particularly off the main system. Seems to have got completely the wrong infrastructure to manage operation smoothly. This is being addressed but currently not with much speed or imagination. Training and development opportunities are not communicated enough to staff
