Reviews:

“Great workplace with unnecessary restructuring in progress”

Excellent team, showing great enthusiasm, and a very encouraging management. There is a real sense of camraderie among the staff, and everyone here is very driven to build the university atmosphere poistively, for both students as well as for staff and colleagues. Its a great thing to be around, all that passion rubs off eventually onto you.

Un-necessary restructing of workforce, with some very good, motivated and even long time employees being laid off. The managements communication with the staff is often lacking.

Passion for the university.

“Dedicated Admin Team”

Dedicated and motivated team of admin workers who do their very best to ensure the student experience at Plymouth is as good as possible. Many fun, interesting and able people and very open, cosmopolitan working atmosphere. Opportunities to learn and develop as a professional are on offer too. Benefits include flexi-time, use of all the university's facilities (including the watersports centre) and a green travel plan (subsidised bus passes).

Pay is terrible. Almost constant re-jigging and restructuring of departments has led to periods of chaos when it's hard to see exactly what is meant to be achieved. University leaders seem out of touch with the organization. A host of communication issues. High staff turnover.

They encourage you to be an 'Enterprise Enabler'. No-one really knows what that is!
