“Creative freedom, ownership of work, sense of pride in your work”

As an employee of this company I really got the feeling that I could make a difference. You get ownership of your work and can visibly see the changes you make going into development. The sense of pride you gain from this is invaluable. There is no time wasted here on making decisions, change is implemented quickly and efficiently. No one wastes their energy on gaining mutual agreement, decisions are made quickly. The office environment is enjoyable and politics free. People who work here are very focused on the company, they are very professional.

The lack of process can be both a good and a bad thing whilst working here.

The sense of achievement you gain from working here is second to none.

“Lots of autonomy, job satisfaction, dynamic operation, but solid processes are lacking”

You can do things your own way. Company expects you to take ownership but allows you the freedom and responsibility to act on your ideas. It's very satisfying to achieve something when you are able to put your own ideas into action and see them come to fruition. Agile corporately, particularly in decision-making, very rarely opt for the 'do nothing' approach but prepared to take the risk of making mistakes and will quickly put into effect the decisions that are taken. The operational dynamism operates outside of any standard processes and procedures – and there is a downside to this.

Not many processes and procedures

“Chaotic at it's best! Training totally inadequate-Supervision and man management poor”

Many years ago brilliant! Today very, very poor man management, peoples skills and training!

The Security arrangement both in layout and application and management is at it's best totally chaotic! Training is not at all employee friendly. The amount of hours worked in any one week of days and nights before a rest period is 72 hours, certainly to my knowledge in breach of any working time directive I have knowledge of in the UK! This contributed to my current state of health and I am only just coming out of the bubble from earlier in the year. Help only seems to kick in after you have made mistakes- Not enough staff to help with training of new employees and the number of starters and leavers seem to be an ongoing process. The Ma ... Help only seems to kick in after you have made mistakes- Not enough staff to help with training of new employees and the number of starters and leavers seem to be an ongoing process. The Main security office has employees checking in, deliveries checking in. The layout is such in the office area that you face the opposite way to traffic incoming- so you not only cannot see any traffic that attempts entry up to the main works entry barriers, but the switches to raise barriers are some 6-12 feet away from the operating (wrong way round desk) so multi tasking is what the Supervisor favours! Not supervisor material in my opinion. What a total chaotic operation that needs sorting from the top! Lack of good training definitely down to lack of numbers in staffing- No praise from the Supervision just grumbles if you do things incorrectly even at the training stage. I do hope the powers that be at RB take this in hand and sort it as I feel for any new employees coming in. more

Is the total Chaos within Security without good effective training on the jjob.
