Customer-centric which makes it forward-looking. It also seeks to have the best processes and procedures and is constantly looking to improve these. RR look after their employees. There are good possibilities for transferring around the operation and developing your career. It's a good employer to work for and an organisation that you can really settle with.
I'm not keen on working under a matrix management style. Sometimes you can't get on because of conflicting priorities from different projects and reporting lines. There are conflicts coming down form the top, and also across teams and projects too. Not enough is being done to clarify goals and overall objectives to rectify this.
Unusual for everyone to be in agreement about the top priority for the day!
Excellent people to work with, a lot of learning opportunities and opportunities for international placement. The pay is great as well, good benefits too. Work life balance is excellent, and the company really believes in developing its employees skills and talents.
Senior management hired from outside based on experience not skill. Decision making is opaque and often doesnt make sense. The location is a bit away from the conveniences of modern life, and can become a drag after a while.
Good atmosphere with focus on developing your skills.
Excellent work life balance, from a company that is very focused on employee satisfaction. The workplace is fun, and challenging, staffed with some of the best people in the industry. Pay and benefits are equally good. The work environment is productive and positive, and the people are very supportive.
Decision making takes a back seat due to bureaucracy. The senior management is often chosen externally based on experience in other industries, and not skill. This causes a little friction whenever there is a reshuffle.
Excellent learning opportunities, and colourful colleagues.
Fair pay shouldn't be a benefit!
