You get paid pretty well to do pretty much nothing
Very stuffy, stale, claustrophobic atmosphere.
The canteen serves a great fry-up!
You could have a work/ life balance depending on the department you work for. Good benefit package, great pension, gym to use.
I was lacking any formal training and development. Management structure wan't good in my team.
Pros: Look, this place has everything you want in a career. The managers are always on call and can help out with any aspect of the business because they have grown with the company. The HR department is something out of this world and really helps you become the person you want to be in the company by means of development and training courses. The company even makes provision to take all the employees out every now and then just to show their appreciation.
Cons: The only problem is that some of the managers favour some employees above others. Usually the ones that are big drinkers or partiers. Other than this, there are no exceptionally big issues.
Junior staff members are hardly ever allowed in company meetings.
Fair pay shouldn't be a benefit!
