“Average place to work, with some redeeming features”

There is a good work life balance achievable with SDL, and the company actively encourages it. There are great social benefits, and this is a very highly reputed company to work for. The staff and the workforce is by and large, extremely nice, courteous and friendly. They are willing to extend support to the newbie as well.

The pay is not very high for the kind of job you do. You can expect to have to put in long hours atleast half the time. The training offered is almost non existant. The higher echelons of the management circle are snooty and dont seem to care about the people in the workforce.

Good location, co-workers and environment for the most part.

I really enjoy the cosmopolitan working environment, we work with people all over the globe and it makes for a really interesting workplace and adds a bit of gloss to the routine Very strong leadership team and direction and forward-looking approach to the business. They actively encourage us to put forward ideas, the more cutting-edge they are the better they are received The products themselves are a result of this commitment to being at the forefront of our industry Even though it's a big established operation you can still really see the affect your contribution makes

Lacking in developing employees to their full potential. Need to bolster up their training programme to help facilitate this
