Reviews:

“Solid pay and benefits, wobbly promotion prospects”

Offers great training opportunities and a good, solid package of pay and benefits. There's an excellent bonus scheme for hard-workers or high-flyers too.

Standard's internal IT systems are pretty ancient and desperately need an upgrade. Internal promotion prospects tend to be poor, with many in middle-management sitting on jobs they've occupied for years. Even if you're good, it's hard to shine here. Leaders lack strategic vision for the company's future.

Very target-driven.

“Job stability is a pressing issue.”

A lot of brainstorming sessions and creative sessions make for great ideas amongst staff members. Most of these ideas are implemented and staff given credit for it. Family feel and sense of belonging which is rare in today’s companies.

The job security which is so vital nowadays is a bit lacking here. Every time the managers mention a bad turn in the economy, everyone gets a bit worried because it might mean that people will be laid off. Some of the employees find it hard to get over such a “shock”. Also, there should be more focus on further training for new employees.

There is constant renovations going on at the office.
