33% of employees recommend this company to their friends

The idea behind the company is good enough, but nothing and no one can make the idea into a reality. There are and have been some fantastic staff here, but one after another they are all throwing in the towel, becaus e nothing ever chances here.

It's hard to pinpoint exactly what the worst thing is about working for this company since there are so many terrible things about it. Firstly, the salary on offer is actually embarrassing. People who are desperate for employment will be duped into working here in spite of that salary and it is truly a shame. Secondly, the managers expect you to work max hours for this kind of pay, which is completely ridiculous. Lastly, you will stay in the same position forever, because there is no company growth and no career growth opportunity.

HR might as well not exist, since queries are never sorted out anyway.

“Worthwhile ideals, but no realistic career path offered”

Core values of the organisation are worthy and engaging, the Trust has achieved a lot and has an excellent public relations engine

Too much is expected of staff and the remuneration is not at the same level as the expectations. It is not competitive across the industry either The career progression is hopeless, and tied into a hopeless performance management methodology which just isn't working. It unnecessarily overcomplicates the process. It should just be simple to promote someone who has a good track record without all the faffing about and red tape

False hope

Need access to personal information from my community mental health team and refuse to support me in any way shape or form without constent to talk with them and have personal information about me

I now feel drained because the opportunity has been taken away from me with no suitable explanation other than discrimation of my mental health

The Prince's Trust is a youth charity that helps change young lives. We give practical and financial support, developing key workplace skills, such as confidence and motivation. We work with 13 to 30-year-olds who have struggled at school, have been in care, are long-term unemployed or have been in trouble with the law. We have helped more than 750,000 young people since 1976 and support 100 more each working day. More than three in four young people we helped last year moved into work, education or training.
