The team I worked with were a great bunch of people and there was a good working environment because of that. There was broad range of projects to be involved with and you didn't end up doing the same thing every day
Lack of transaparency. There is a lot of cliqueyness in the way the operations are managed. Everything goes on behind closed doors for those in the know only and information cascade is such a low priority that it never seems to happen. Never hear formally about decisions which affect your day to day working life or about company matters in general. If you find out anything it is by accident or through the grapevine. Makes you feel on the outside and disengaged from the company. Staff management seems to be done by numbers and not with any real intent to maximise the assets and potential of the staff for the benefit of the organisation.
Staff briefings are unusual!
