I really liked the colleagues I worked with at UBS. There is a good work/life balance and in general a decent company culture. You are supported if you take any exams and encouraged to develop your skills. This is a good place to further your training.
If you want to be taken seriously regarding a pay increase, you pretty much have to threaten to leave the company. This system isn't working, they need to address this. The upper management are quite resistant to change, barriers go up as soon as something innovative is suggested.
People seem to be rewarded when they say they are going to leave, rather than when they have done something worth being rewarded for.
Fair pay shouldn't be a benefit!
