Its a good well known company to have on your resume. They have great products, and good development wings, that offer a decent learning experience, and good opportunities for professional development. The career progressions are quick.
Work life balance generally thrown out of gear. A lot of the workforce is fresh graduates, and can be quite frustrating. The managements policies are highly inconsistent, and you dont feel valued as an employee at Veritas. The pay is quite bad, and so is the hiring process. The main tactic to get results out of employees seems to be threatning to fire them.
Bad management practices.
Good opportunities for training and advancement, good experience overall, especiall with the people and the generla team environment which is very positive and supportive. The staff is somehow always motivated.
Not the best management team, HR practices need improvement. Managers need to learn to allow their employees more freedom. Senior management needs an overhaul. Work life balance can be a little hard.
Nothing unusual or out of the ordinary, an average job at an average company, nothing extraordinary on either end of the scale.
Fair pay shouldn't be a benefit!
