For a retail/customer service based job the level of stress involved is not as high as elsewhere i.e. a supermarket environment. The salaries are okay comparatively also. There are some opportunities to progress within one of the company's transport stores, such as those in the train stations or airports. I would recommend this company for students as they offer some flexible working hours.
Communication between shop floor and upper management needs to be improved, but this seems to be a problem at a lot of places I have worked. Training for supervisor and management level could be improved, and they should be actively encouraged to take responsibility more. Management need to realise that the happiness of their staff effects the happiness of their customers.
People leave because they actually want to learn more and have more training.

Routine- I knew what I was meant to be doing and when.
The pay was awful. The management didn't set a very good example, were rarely in contact with me, made decisions about changing shifts without consulting or informing me and were not very clear about what was expected.
Never received the uniform.
