An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team at Pontins. The Special Events Marketing Executive role is a key position within the web and marketing team, based in our Southport head office. The successful candidate will be creative, professional, driven, diligent and analytical. The Special Events Marketing Executive will carry out activities as diverse as designing, managing and launching offline print media campaigns, maintaining and regularly updating WordPress websites / creating landing pages.

As a result, we are looking for a candidate that is truly excited by the idea of working on a diverse and ever-changing set of projects, in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will also be highly creative, with a strong eye for brand and copywriting. Graphic design and website design skills are essential for this creative role.

Responsibilities:

* Creation of marketing material (both online and offline).
* Building and managing website pages in support of Special Events Department.
* Ensures Special Events are effectively promoted and branded.
* Development of content for a range of communications channels.
* Researching and creation of social media content across multiple platforms.
* Assisting with the implementation of PR activities, working with external agencies.
* Any other duties as appropriate.

Minimum knowledge, skills, abilities and experience necessary for effective job performance:

* Experience of working within a Marketing or Media department or relevant qualifications.
* Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite.
* Strong knowledge of website design / graphic design (with portfolio of work in support).
* HTML / CSS coding experience.
* Must have strong people skills and the ability to work with people from various departments.
* Creative problem-solving abilities.
* Strong proof reading and attention to detail.
* Flexibility and the ability to multi-task.
* Strong copywriting skills.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise your workload and achieve deadlines.
* Flexibility and ability to travel if needed.
* Experience of WordPress CMS.
* Social media marketing experience.
