It is further supported by a fully accredited UKAS laboratory and together with the Geosciences division of RSK, the company makes RSK Group one of the UK’s largest site investigation service providers. Ian Farmer Associates currently has an immediate need for an experienced SHEQ Administrator based in Washington.
SHEQ Administrator - Washington, Tyne & Wear
The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience within a similar SHEQ role. The role will involve, but is not limited to:
Liaise and assist the SHEQ Director in promoting H&S, Quality and Environmental ideals within the business. Maintain records and liaise with office Safety Leads and Office Managers to maintain office facilities. Assist in the completion of questionnaires and/or audits to maintain accreditations, plus portal maintenance as required. Collate records of near misses, site audits, car checklists, repeat business stats, near misses and positive interventions, accident stats, accident records, office reviews, bulletins, briefing notes, workplace inspections, skin assessments, DSE assessments, driver risk assessments, carbon monitoring, centralised drillers list. All required as audit evidence. Organise Business Management meetings, H&S Advisory meetings and H&S Consultative meetings. Take minutes and disseminate. Circulate briefing notes, bulletins and central documentation via RSK. Assist in the completion of PQQs and tender portal notifications. Fleet management (including monitoring vehicle insurances, trackers, driving licence checks, arranging repairs, MOTs and servicing, hire and purchase of vehicles and maintaining the fuel card account). IT and Telecommunications (including maintenance of IT equipment, liaison with the external IT company, monitoring of the photocopier contract and maintenance and mobile phone contracts).
This is an interesting and varied role and will allow the right candidate to expand their knowledge and experience.
