We are actively recruiting for a Superintendent Mammographer covering sites around Exeter.This will be a 36 hour week - Monday to Friday. Travel expenses are covered
Please note that due to the sensitive nature of this post, only female applicants can be considered, this is in line with the defined exceptions in the Equality Act 2010, known as Genuine Occupational Requirements (GOQ).
All applicants must have valid UK HPC (Health Professions Council) registration and hold the postgraduate qualification (M level or equivalent) in Mammography. Post qualification experience in screening mammography and assessment is desirable but not essential
What does being a Superintendent Mammographer at InHealth involve?
You will be expected to undertake specific imaging procedures efficiently and effectively for both the public and private sectors; adhering to best practice of radiographic technique. You will be providing expertise to ensure the appropriate triage, booking and examination of patients. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a high level of professionalism and technical standard of work, complying with relevant Codes of Practice.
