Shell is focused on aligning and simplifying IT systems to increase customer satisfaction and business value. As part of that, we're building an in-house IT Transformational Change Capability that will partner closely with each area of the business to drive and embed IT change.
**What's the role?**
Part of our Group CIO function, this is a delivery-focused role, leading IT-driven business change in a programme/project environment. Join us and you'll engage with senior business and IT decision-makers to drive the change agenda, both leading and contributing to multiple change projects.
It's a great developmental opportunity for someone on a career trajectory. On complex projects, you'll be supported by a Transformational Change Manager. At other times, you'll drive your own projects and develop your leadership skills, bringing out the best in junior change managers by mentoring, advising and coaching them. There's great scope to make a positive impact on the way we work, helping to equip the business with the skills to better manage and sustain change.
It's a refreshingly wide-ranging role; your responsibilities will include:
+ Deploying measurable change management interventions and wider transformational change initiatives, usually in an Agile context .
+ Staying abreast of external best practice in change management and sharing your insight with colleagues to facilitate knowledge sharing and build our Transformational Change capability.
+ Contributing to developing Agile mindsets and behaviours.

**What we need from you**
First and foremost, we're looking for someone who's shown they can deliver technology-driven change and technology adoption. Knowledgeable in change management methods and their application, you're confident conducting detailed change impact assessments and working with business colleagues to drive and sustain change - even where there's high ambiguity. You'll also need an understanding of Agile and its impact on the management of change. You'll also be fully mobile as this role may require some travel to Europe during the week in support of various projects **.**
It's your personal skills that will make all the difference. You're a natural relationship-builder and accomplished communicator, both in writing and in person - someone who's shown they can cultivate fruitful stakeholder relationships at different organisational levels.
