What we're looking for:
We are looking for SQL Database Administrator who is confident to be in a data base administration position responsible for handling and supporting Database environments as well as its users. Previous experience as DBA is a must have. Technically, we are looking for someone with good skills with MS SQL Server 2016, SQL Server Management Studio and basic knowledge of Window Server 2016. This person will be responsible for the management and maintenance of a new SQL platform, have the ability to back up, restore, upgrade and migrate when required and take ownership and thoroughly investigate tickets using their troubleshooting, problem solving and performance tuning skills.
Who you’ll be working with
You’ll be working within the Chief Data Office at the centre of the business and often you will also work directly with other technical teams. You’ll be required to work some weekends and some evenings to implement and/or support platform changes and incidents, however most of the time this will be flexible with hours and working patterns. There is also the flexibility to work from home 1 or 2 days a week.
