Due to market expansion we are now recruiting for a Project Lead to join our Omagh site. Reporting directly to the Production Manager, the Project Lead will work closely with Production management team ensuring a smooth flow of production through the manufacturing line and ensure that projects are being completed on time. Main Duties & Responsibilities The project supervisor will develop improvement plans and follow through to completion. Work with the production manager to create a project plan and outline the resources required to complete the project. Act as communication liaison between departments and senior management and interact clearly, constructively and positively with all organizational departments to ensure that projects completed effectively and with minimal disruption to production. Assist with daily production meetings, controlling and managing the day to day production levels on the shop floor, to ensure that the targets are achieved. To promote health & safety within the work place. To ensure the line is run in accordance with lean manufacturing practices and principals. To carry out any other reasonable duties that may be required from time to time. Ensure compliance to all general site Rules, Regulations and Policies. To maintain compliance to all Health and Safety Regulations. The Person Candidates should be qualified to minimum of GCSE level or equivalent. Significant production experience gained in a highly pressured manufacturing environment. An understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques an advantage. Computer literate and experience of Oracle /ERP systems Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work to and meet strict deadlines and able to adapt to changing priorities & goals.
