Carry out mental health assessments, including self harm risk assessments with children, young people and their families.
Offer therapeutic treatment.
Engage with the families and young people
Hold a caseload and case manage
Attend team meetings/case reviews each week
To be considered for the CAMHS Practitioner post:
Ideally have experience of working therapeutically in a CAMHS services
Desirable- trained and competent in delivering one or more psychological therapies
Sound understanding of the Mental Health Act and legal framework governing CAMHS work.
Experience in managing safeguarding concerns and alerts.
Experience of using Routine Outcome Measures for assessment and monitoring of outcome
