Based in the depot, you as a Welder / Engineer with Speedy will be a key part of the depot operations. A productive workshop means equipment is always available for our customers, which in turn, keeps the customer happy.
At Speedy we take pride in the safety of our equipment and its availability to the customer, which is why we make sure our Engineers are able to operate at their peak with continuous training courses and regular opportunities to learn new products.
On a day-to-day basis, you can expect to be working directly with other engineers in the depot and liaising regularly with drivers and the hire desk team to ensure repairs and maintenance is prioritised effectively.
Hands on, you will find yourself performing mechanical repairs, assembly, servicing and welding on our range of industrial products such as power tools and lifting equipment.
Whilst your role will need you to demonstrate the responsibility to work alone, we work proudly with a team culture so adaptability and communication are key. Being an Engineer with Speedy will bring great opportunities for you to learn new skills and progress your career, where you can learn from those around you and develop with our award-winning, in-house training courses.
At Speedy, we want to help you develop and progress; but we’ll need you to demonstrate these skills and attributes for us to be able to support you…
