Psychologist/Senior Clinician

£35,000 - £42,000 p/a (dependent on experience)

We have a fantastic opportunity for a registered Psychologist/Senior Clinician (part or full time) to join our growing Psychological Services team in our Glasgow or Eastbourne office, where you will be working closely with our Telephone Counsellors to understand client needs, provide robust support from a clinical standpoint, whilst coaching and developing the team.

You will conduct telephonic psychological assessments, producing high quality reports, and recommend clinically appropriate interventions with clear rationale. Working as part of an established and multi-disciplinary team, you will also be involved in shaping and delivering CPD for the team.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Collecting information about presenting problems, with a thorough analysis of history and maintenance of problems, relevant contextual issues, risk and psychological history, and subsequently ensuring Psychological Assessments are completed in a timely manner according to clinical procedures
- Conducting and recording psychometric data, and producing clinical and auditing reports which can be used for internal or external purposes
- Ensuring the most clinically appropriate intervention is recommended to the client and relevant clinicians
- Actively participating in any service development activities within the business


You will be a Chartered Clinical or Counselling Psychologist, or an Accredited Counsellor/Psychotherapist, with demonstrable experience in this field. You will either hold a current and valid HCPC registration, or be a BACP/UKCP/BABCP Accredited. You must also have proven experience in conducting psychological assessments, with a commitment to delivering high quality client care.

Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team is desirable, and familiarity of PMI and EAP would be a distinct advantage. In addition, it would be advantageous to have experience of delivering clinical training and supervising.
