Central Support Service are looking to recruit highly skilled and experienced Learning Support Assistants to work with learners across all programmes including Young People, Adults and Apprentices. This may involve supporting some learners with special educational needs or disabilities on a 121 basis or in small groups, or working with multiple learners in a classroom setting or other learning environment.
The role will involve working closely with teaching colleagues to support learners who require additional learning support in the classroom to ensure they develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours they need to achieve and progress. The post holder will establish constructive relationships with the learners, monitor progress and provide feedback to promote independence and achievement.
Various working patterns are available and successful candidates will need to be available to work flexibly including evenings and at off site provision. Level 2 English and Maths are essential for these posts and evidence of qualifications will be required prior to interview.
