At Manpower we are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Assistant to work with our client in the gas bottle industry in Wandsworth. The role will involve selling and promoting their core range of appliances, dealing with customer orders and enquiries by phone and in person, handling cash and reconciling with sales and banking, managing customers' accounts and credit balances, as well as general office and showroom duties. You will also be responsible for supporting in the yard as well, which will involve loading products into Customers vehicles and moving stock around where necessary.
The role available involves working Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 17:00 with the potential of overtime on occasion. Candidates should have general IT skills as well as a high standard of customer service. Previous experience in a similar position or industry is advantageous, and candidates should expect manual handling and heavy lifting to form part of this position.
Although this role is classed as a temporary assignment, it will be ongoing for the right candidate.
