Join our Brand & Marketing team in Brighton, we’re offering a Digital Content Specialist a career advancing opportunity to bring this story to life for our customers.

As Content Designer & Producer you’ll be joining an experienced and creative digital marketing team, developing content strategy and solutions for large-scale projects, supporting customer experience (CX and UX) by creating high-quality, user-focused digital content. Your briefs will target prospects and customers across all B2C markets, to drive acquisition or increase loyalty and value appropriately through the full channel mix.

Day to Day:

  • You’ll deliver ongoing creative content and assets to be used across our digital estates, including social, paid activity and organic, to support planned digital marketing activity.
  • You’ll manage our Digital Marketing Conversion Optimisation Rate (CRO) programme to test content, optimising the content on our website.
  • You’ll drive and deliver the development of website modules to support future content requirements.
  • You’ll deliver a programme of continuous development to improve content across our digital channels, with a mobile-first approach, evolving and improving the user experience of our Customer’s journeys through our products and services.

We’re offering an opportunity for you to develop your existing content design marketing knowledge within the diverse energy industry. With the launch of our new ‘Generation Electric’ brand this is an exciting time to join us and develop your skills to become a subject matter expert within the digital marketing team.

  • Understand the user experience: with your user-centred design background, you’re able to translate your understanding of the customer journey into design approaches, meeting consumer needs and engaging in meaningful relationships with our users.
  • Content design: you’ll have the ability to design content to meet user needs and make complex propositions easy to understand, using the most effective format for your audience.
  • Data insight: your ability to interpret customer insight and data analytics will help inform your decisions and define opportunities to create engaging content for our website and digital channels.
  • Stakeholder management and communication: you can communicate with stakeholders clearly, clarify mutual needs, effect change and influence stakeholders.
  • Commercial awareness: your experience of content testing will enable you to run our CRO programme in order to maximise website content and drive landings into quotes.

The Skills

You’ll have:

  • The ability to design content to meet user needs and make complex language and processes easy to understand.
  • Proven experience of identifying audience demographic and what our customer’s needs are based on data analytics.
  • The ability to translate user stories and propose design approaches or services to meet customer needs and engage in meaningful interactions and relationships with users.
  • Prior experience of delivering a programme of continuous development to improve content across digital channels.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to produce management information to demonstrate impact and inform decision making.
  • Extensive hands-on editorial experience, including working within and creating house styles and governance, and raising content standards
